To address inflation in Australia, the Government seeks to aid citizens with the $1,000 family tax benefit which will be provided alongside other regular prerogative in May 2025. This will help citizens tackle their daily needs.
About Australia $1,000 Family Tax Benefit Top-Up
In case you’re just hearing about this, the $1,000 Family Tax Benefit also known as FTP top-up is a one-time payment attributed to your existing entitlement. The primary purpose is to provide relief for citizens due to the emerging cost of living.
This will in turn reduce the financial burdens on households and it does not stop your regular fortnightly payment in May 2025.
Requirements for the $1,000 Family Tax Benefit Top-Up
The fundamental eligibility is that you must be a current beneficiary of FTB either Part A or B. In addition, here are other criteria you must also meet.
